Natsu Matsuri

This is my entry for the contest running on

Since the theme was party, festival, etc. I did a drawing of Young Kenshin walking on a Matsuri with Hiko-sensei.

Kenshin's still a child so he gets excited being in these things, well he just started training kenjutsu, so it can't be helped.

We can some weird people passing by, who could they be? 8D
Well, since it's a festival it would be weir if there was only Kenshin and Hiko with a lot of shops, so I put some other random characters that came on my mind.

I thought on putting more Kenshin chars, but hey, if Kenshin is like, ten, Kaoru wouldn't have been born and even Aoshi would be a baby!
Well, I could put someone like Saitou or Katsura, but... Well, Katsura should be in Choushu, so why'd he go to Kyoto just for a festival? He'd have to be planning the revolution by that time!

Well, lot's of blabbering here, but this piece really took me a lot of time.
One day to draw everything and half a day to clean an color it...
